Ciprian Dontu and Alexandru Ambrozie – new partners with POPOVICI NITU & ASOCIATII

POPOVICI NIȚU & ASOCIAȚII has announced today the appointment of two new partners - Ciprian Donțu and Alexandru Ambrozie.

The new partners will head two of the Firm’s 15 practice groups; Ciprian Donțu will be in charge of the Litigation & Arbitration Practice and Alexandru Ambrozie will co-head the Banking, Finance & Capital Markets Practices.

Ciprian Donțu is a member of the firm since its inception, over the past 10 years pursuing all carrier stages from junior associate to senior associate and head of a practice group. Ciprian Donțu holds a degree in law from the University of Bucharest – Faculty of Law and is member of the Bucharest Bar Association since 1999.
Ciprian Donțu is a litigation specialist, having represented during the years in various contentious matters clients such as ArcelorMittal, MGV/Auchan, Cargill, Ferrari, GE Money, Herve, Immoeast, Orange, Oresa Ventures, RED Capital, SIVECO Romania, etc.  

Alexandru Ambrozie has joined the Firm in 2005. Alexandru Ambrozie graduated from the University of Bucharest – Faculty of Law in 2002 and is member of the Bucharest Bar Association since 2003. 
Alexandru Ambrozie has wide experience in banking, finance and capital markets, regularly advising on both debt and lending side, banks and non-banking financial institutions, as well as the capital markets’ institutions and issuers such as ALD Automotive, BLOM Bank, BNP Paribas, BT Securities, Deutsche Leasing, ECS, Fondul Proprietatea, Investors Compensation Fund, ING Bank, etc.
