PNSA wins award for excellence in Arbitration

Popovici Nițu Stoica & Asociații has been recognized for its excellence in Arbitration at the Juridice Gala organized by Societatea de Științe Juridice (the Romanian Society of Legal Sciences) that took place on May 23, 2024, at the Palace of the Parliament.

The award was granted to Popovici Nițu Stoica & Asociații for the outstanding reviews from its arbitration and litigation clients. Throughout 2023, PNSA advised on some of the most complex domestic and cross-border disputes.

PNSA’s International Arbitration and Cross-Border Litigation Practice Group is one of the most experienced and recognized arbitration groups in the Romanian legal market. Consisting of a core team of 8 lawyers, the Group is also one of the largest in the market. It has been and it is involved in numerous commercial and investment arbitrations, both institutional and ad hoc, including pre-arbitral proceedings, litigation before the courts, in support of or in connection with arbitration, as well as complex cross-border disputes. PNSA is currently involved in two investment arbitrations, six international commercial arbitration proceedings and multiple domestic arbitration cases.

The International Arbitration and Cross-Border Litigation Practice Group, coordinated by Florian Nițu and Raluca Maria Petrescu, consists of a team of lawyers educated in prestigious higher education institutions around the world, from Bucharest to Paris, from London to Washington, with legal training not only in Romanian law, but also in other legal systems, with continuous professional training in arbitration.

Through their work, not only before courts of arbitration, but also outside them, by participating in conferences, debates, meetings and publications, the members of PNSA’s International Arbitration and Cross-Border Litigation Practice Group constantly contribute to the promotion and development of arbitration.
