Popovici Nitu & Asociatii acted for Ameropa Holding AG on the acquisition of Azomures SA and Chimpex SA

Popovici Nițu & Asociații acted for longstanding client Ameropa Holding AG, leading Swiss fertilizers & grains trader, on the acquisition of the listed companies Azomureș SA and Chimpex SA, in one of the largest M&A transactions concluded in the last years. The completion of the acquisition is subject to the merger clearance by the Competition Council.

A multidisciplinary 7-lawyer team, specialized in Capital Markets and Corporate/M&A was led by Bogdan C. Stoica, M&A Partner.

This is the second M&A transaction in which Ameropa Holding AG engaged our Firm, after the acquisition of Comcereal Constanța, one of the most important domestic warehousing and trading operators of grains and oil seeds.
