Popovici Nițu Stoica & Asociații receives two awards at the 2018 ZF Lawyer’s Gala

Popovici Nițu Stoica & Asociații received the awards for the largest real estate transaction and also for the largest transaction in the building materials sector, at the Lawyers’ Gala organized by Ziarul Financiar in September 2018.

The award for the largest real estate transaction was received for the legal services provided to Dedeman, the only 100 percent Romanian-owned firm with a turnover above €1bn, on the acquisition of The Bridge, a new landmark office project in Bucharest with an approximately 80,000 sqm leasable area, from Forte Partners.

The award for the largest transaction in the building materials sector was received for the legal services provided to Xella, the global building materials manufacturer, on the acquisition of Macon Group.

• largest transaction in the real estate sector (assisting Dedeman on the acquisition of The Bridge);
• largest transaction in the energy sector (assisting the largest Romanian investment fund on the sale of its shares held in four electricity supply companies to Electrica SA);
• largest transactions in the building materials sector (assisting Xella on the acquisition of Macon Group; assisting Oresa Ventures on the sale of Fabryo Corporation to Akzo Nobel);
• largest transaction in the medical services sector (assisting Medicover on the acquisition of Pelican Hospital).
