DB Schenker merges its Romanian business into a 1,100-employee company

Popovici Nițu Stoica & Asociații advised DB Schenker, the logistic division of the German rail operator Deutsche Bahn AG, on the merger of two of its Romanian subsidiaries (DB Schenker Global Services Europe SRL and DB Schenker Global Business Services SRL) into DB Schenker GBS Bucharest SRL. The new company integrates more than 1,100 employees, who provide business support services to the Group.

PNSA team led by Deputy Managing Partner Bogdan C. Stoica, along with Managing Associate Irina Ivanciu, also included Managing Associate Ioana Dumitru, as well as Associates Ioana Avram and Bianca Țărăscu. The tax assistance was provided by Mihaela Pohaci, Partner with PNSA Tax SRL.
