PNSA wins three ZF awards for its M&A projects

Popovici Nițu Stoica & Asociații received three awards for its M&A activity over the last 12 months, at the Lawyers’ Gala organized by the Romanian leading business publication Ziarul Financiar.

The awards were granted in:

1. real estate – for having advised Dedeman on the acquisition of The Bridge, a new landmark office project in Bucharest with an approximately 80,000 sqm leasable area, from Forte Partners;
2. retail – for having advised Optical Network on its sale to private equity fund Innova Capital;
3. medical services - for having advised Farmexim drug distribution company and Help Net pharmaceutical retail network on their sale to Phoenix.

Popovici Nițu Stoica & Asociații has received a total of five nominations:

• largest transactions in the real estate sector (advising Dedeman on the acquisition of The Bridge and The Office);
• largest transaction in the industry (advising Dedeman on the acquisition of 9% in Cemacon);
• largest transaction in the retail sector (advising Optical Network on its sale to Innova Capital);
• largest transaction in the medical services sector (advising Farmexim and Help Net on their sale to Phoenix).
