The PNSA team was led by Silviu Stoica (Partner), working with Valentin Creata (Partner), Roxana Chiscop (Senior Associate) and Daniela Sitaru (Associate). Raluca Rusu (Tax Partner) advised on the tax aspects and Mihaela Ion (Competition Partner) advised on the competition aspects.

Via Trend and Snack 4U own the Daniela's, Paparude and Snack 4U brands; Snack 4U is Romania's largest sandwich producer.

PNSA worked alongside the sellers throughout the exit, from structuring and the drafting and negotiation of the transaction documents through to signing, including the competition and foreign investment screening aspects.

The transaction was signed with both the Romanian Competition Council clearance and the foreign investment screening approval already in place, leaving only customary closing conditions to be met.

Oresa has backed Via Trend since 2021 and added Snack 4U to the group the following year. PNSA has worked alongside Oresa and the Via Trend group on the Snack 4U acquisition as well.
