PNSA advised Ameropa on a new M&A transaction on the agribusiness market

PNSA assisted its long-standing client Ameropa, worldwide leading Swiss grain and fertilizer trader, on the acquisition of 40% of the shares of agribusiness companies Promat Comimpex and Agroind Cauaceu, the strongest distributors of agri inputs and outputs in the northern part of Romania.

The transaction awaits the approval of the Competition Council.

PNSA team was led by Deputy Managing Partner Bogdan C. Stoica, along with Managing Associate Andreea Hulub. Involved in the project were also Competition Partner Mihaela Ion, Managing Associates Codrin Luță and Ioana Dumitru, as well as Senior Associates Mariana Marcu, Cristina Marcu and Laura Ambrozie, and Associates Casiana Pînzariu, Claudia Salomia, Dragoș Iamandoiu, Vanessa Nistor, Geanina Stoica and Mădălina Tatu.

In the recent years, PNSA also advised Ameropa on its entire acquisition and investment program in Romania involving the acquisition of Azomureş Târgu Mureş (the largest fertilizer manufacturer in Romania), Chimpex (one of the largest port operators in Constanța Harbour) and Ameropa Grains (former Comcereal Constanța and top 3 agri inputs and outputs trader in Romania) as well as of various silos, storage and distribution facilities and/or business lines from InterCereal, Cerealfert, Cereal Bac, Comcereal Assets.

PNSA has advised Ameropa for 10 years, since its entry in Romania.
